As big lover of Samsung after months of rumors and leaks, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was finally unveiled yesterday. The device specifications and features align with most of the leaks we’ve seen over the last few months. Unlike previous devices in the Galaxy Note product line, the Galaxy Note 7 only has the “Edge” version, meaning there isn’t a flat-screened Galaxy Note this year.

The device has only been announced, it is yet to be officially released. It would become available in the starting from August 19. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 price is speculated to start from around $899.

To the unify the Galaxy Note product family with devices in the Galaxy S series, the Korean company decides to skip the Note 6, jumping straight to the Galaxy Note 7. It steps away from its predecessors, and it looks a lot like Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. This is also the first Galaxy Note to be fully waterproof.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 comes with a curved bezel-less display protected with Gorilla Glass 5. The curved back too is covered with the same Gorilla Glass 5. Weighing 169 gram, Samsung has managed to make the new device lighter than its predecessor. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge comes in Blue Coral, Black Onyx, Silver Titanium, and Gold Platinum.

As stated in lots of our previous articles, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 comes with a curved 5.7-inch display with 2560 x 1440 quad HD resolution, resulting in a pixel density of 518 ppi. Surprising, the devices comes with the same processor found on Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge; Snapdragon 820 SoC or Exynos 8890 depending on region.
The rumored iris scanner is present. It features a 12MP rear camera with OIS and a 5MP front-facing camera, 4GB RAM plus 64GB base internal storage with SD card support up to 256GB, 3500mAh battery, fingerprint scanner and more.
